Have you been wanting to learn more about the health benefits of CBD oils and how to infuse them in great recipes? We are going to be hosting our first 3 Part CBD 101 Cooking Seminar! Learn the health benefits of CBD and how to use them in Savory recipes in this unique cooking experience!

All segments in this series are hands on, and all attendees will be able to participate in creating everything during each class. Each class will provide you with recipes and information about CBD that you can take home with you and try out on your own!

Week 1 August Tuesday, August 13th, 6:30 PM: Savory 

This hands-on class will show you how to cook delicious savory dishes that incorporate a variety of CBD products. We will start with an overview of different types of infusion methods and then use this knowledge to try out recipes in the kitchen. You will learn how to use fresh and local ingredients to create dishes that will WOW your friends, all while reaping the benefits of CBD.

Mushroom Sauté Crostini

Mushrooms sautéed with garlic, onions, and herbs in a CBD butter.  Served on a crusty bread and topped with greens.

Salad

Green’s Salad with Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrette

Healthy mix of greens and vegetables served with a CBD infused creamy balsamic dressing.

Herb Butter Garlic Bread

CBD infused herb butter garlic bread.

Entrée

Crunchy Herb Crusted Chicken Pasta w/ Pesto Sauce

Baked panko and herb chicken breast served with a CBD infused pesto sauce.  Served with homemade pasta.

Keep seeing CBD on your favorite drink menus? Let us show you how you can make these great drinks at home so you can serve them at your next party! We will teach you how to infuse both cocktails and mocktails with CBD. We will also show you how to create simple hors d’oeuvres with CBD. Get ready to party and have a great time while learning about CBD and how it can improve your life. Bring your favorite Tequila, Vodka or Whiskey and we will show you how to make some awesome drinks from it!

Menu: Bring your own favorite alcohol (Whiskey, Vodka or Tequila) and you can make the following:

Whiskey: Old Fashioned, Whiskey Smash

Vodka: Moscow Mule,  Garden Party

Tequila: Paloma, Margarita

Mocktails: French 75 , Shrub

Bites: Pizza Bites, Hempseed falafel, Cookies

 

Week 3 Wednesday, August 28th, 6:30PM: Dessert/ Pastry (CLICK HERE)
Everyone’s favorite course: DESSERT! In this segment, we will be focused on making great desserts and pastries that are infused with CBD. Nothing is better than enjoying a sweet treat after a meal and infusing them with CBD will create a new level of relaxation. Get ready to step up your dessert game!

Menu:

Fudge Brownies w/ Cherry Compote and Whipped Cream

CBD infused chocolate brownies served with a cherry compote and homemade whipped cream.

Raspberries and White Fudge

White chocolate fudge served with a CBD infused raspberry sauce.

Chocolate Fridge Cake w/ Walnuts

A no bake chocolate cake infused with CBD with walnuts.

Chef Brandon Thomas
Chef Brandon Thomas started his cooking career 20 years ago in New Orleans, LA where he worked in many different types of restaurants from local neighborhood joints to fine dining establishments. He is well-versed in many different types of cuisine from elegant classical cuisine to southern down-home cooking. Having lived in cities like Denver, Seattle, Chicago and more, he has had the opportunity to cook with ingredients from all around the country and learn different styles. His love for seafood has always been a huge part of his drive to be a chef and still to this day is a huge focus. He now lives in Chicago and is ready to teach people about food and give knowledge to anybody that is in search of it.
