Description

Come cook great food and be treated to a comedy show!  Cook some amazing recipes sit down for 2 comedy sets by great local comedians in between courses! BYOB and have a great time!

Menu:  Southwest Chicken Egg Rolls & Stromboli (Pizza Pinwheels), Avocado Jalapeno & Citrus Sorbet for Dessert BYOB

Entertainment: 2 local comedians will entertain you in between courses (see bio below)!

REFUND POLICY: YOU MAY GET A FULL REFUND UNTIL 7 DAYS BEFORE THE CLASS. AFTER THAT WE WILL GLADLY GIVE YOU CREDIT TOWARDS ANOTHER GET IN THE KITCHEN! COOKING PARTY AS LONG AS WE CAN FILL YOUR SPOT UNTIL TWO DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT. IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE EVENT, YOU UNFORTUNATELY FORFEIT YOUR CLASS FEE, BUT CAN SUBSTITUTE ANYONE IN YOUR PLACE.

Trevor Gertonson started in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Acme Comedy Club where he was a semi-finalist in the 2010 Funniest Person in the Twin Cities Contest. He went on to perform his stand up throughout the United States in rock venues and comedy clubs/festivals. He has been a regular at Gilda’s LaughFest in Grand Rapids, MI and performed at such festivals as the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Elgin Fringe Festival and the Cape Fear Comedy Festival. He will be performing his first European dates this fall starting in the UK.  His first 30-minute special I’ve Seen better was released in 2012. He is also the creator of the comedy showcase DVD series Laugh You Bastards. Trevor’s stand up has been reviewed as “funny, weird and deeply human.”

Evelyn Troutman has been performing standup, music, and poetry for the past three years in Columbus, Ohio and Chicago, IL. She has opened for Dan Mintz, Creed Bratton, and Hasan Minhaj, and she starred in the comedy-horror film Killer Raccoons 2: Dark Christmas in the Dark. Evelyn enjoys experimenting with different types of media onstage to explore topics like mental illness, interpersonal relationships, and death.
