I am “pleased as punch” that you have chosen Get in the Kitchen! to host your party! We know we can create an event that will be a lip smacking good time for all! I am happy to furnish this proposal for your review and comments.
Date: November 11, 2025 12:00-3:00PM. Please plan to start on time. If the party goes over the allotted time period by more than 30 minutes due to guest lateness, charges will start to incur at the rate of $100 per hour and will not be prorated. These charges will be due upon completion of the party. These charges will not incur if the lateness is due to any fault of Get in the Kitchen and its staff.
Price is $99 per person with a minimum of $1,400. A 50% deposit is required to reserve the date and time, and full payment is due 7 days before the event. See next section for details on refunds. Pricing includes all food items, instruction and applicable taxes. Pricing does not include any extra beverages, entertainment and optional gratuity. See below for information on wine & Alcohol, other beverages, entertainment and gratuity.
Deposit and Payment: 50% of the deposit is refundable up to 90 days prior to the event. After that, please see refund policy below for terms. The deposit will be $700 based on the party minimum.
Full payment is due 7 days before the event. Full payment will be based on final guest count and price per person of the selected format and will be non-refundable. Should you want to add more people to the event after final payment is made, full payment for all add-ons is to be paid before event commences. No refunds will be given for any guests who have been paid for and are unable to attend for any reason.
For parties over 10, if your estimated guest count decreases by more than 5 people, you must notify us at least 3 weeks prior to the party to avoid any surcharges as we must assign staff at that time. If you do not notify us and your estimated headcount decreases by 5 or more people, surcharges of $250 will be incurred to help us recover non-refundable commitments to our staff on our part.
Refund Policy: Deposit is 50% refundable up to 90 days before the event. After that, your deposit is non-refundable. ANY CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE EVENT AND PRIOR TO FINAL PAYMENT WILL REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT OF THIE MINUMUM PARTY AMOUNT PLUS ANY ENTERTAINMENT FEES AS WE WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO MARKET AND FILL THE TIME. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON AFTER THE FINAL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE. IF YOU CANCEL AFTER THE FINAL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON. HOWEVER, YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE UP TO AS MANY GUESTS THAT HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL FOR THE TIME SLOT.
COVID & OTHER UNFORSEEN PUBLIC HEALTH EVENTS REFUND POLICY
If we are shut down due to COVID or any other governmental public health restrictions applied to the City of Chicago prior to 30 days out, we will issue a full refund of your deposit. If we are shut down due to Covid Restrictions or any other governmental public health restrictions applied to the City of Chicago within 30 days of your event, we will offer credit towards any future cooking party, merchandise in the store or public cooking party

Pasta Party!
We will instruct your guests how to make pasta from scratch. We will choose the exact menu and format at least 3 weeks before the party.
We will also include cheese and crackers complimentary for a party of 8 or less.
Entertainment:
If you decide on any other entertainment, additional deposits equal to half of the cost for the entertainer will be due at time and the pricing for additional entertainment will be as follows:

- Comedian: $200
- Magician: $450
- Sing Along Pianist: $850
- Drag Queen: $200 for 1 queen, $375 for 2 queens
- Karaoke DJ Host Premium Package (includes lighting and effects) $450
- Drag Queen Karaoke DJ Host Basic Package $275
- Karaoke DJ Host Basic Package $250
- Dancing Lessons: $300
- Custom or General Trivia & Games: $100
- Hell’s Kitchen Blind Taste Test & Culinary Trivia Games: $175 for up to 15 people $225 for 15+: Taste 5 different food samples and guess what they are. Everyone tastes everything individually at the same time and writes their guesses down. The person with the most right answers wins! Followed by a short Culinary Trivia Round that can be played individually or in teams.
Beverages:
We will provide lemon infused water for your guests and a bottle of soda per every 10 guests.
We will include 2 bottles of wine complimentary for a party under 10.
Other Wine & Spirits: We offer wine for sale in our store that will be ready for you that evening if you order ahead. You may also purchase wine that evening. If you are interested in purchasing wines or spirits, we suggest you have a couple of bottles available for guests at the beginning of the party. We can suggest a couple of wines based on your preference. Wine and spirits must be purchased through our store.
Gratuity: Gratuity is neither expected nor required. However, if you feel our staff has done an exceptional job, it is accepted and always appreciated. Our staff’s salaries are not dependent on gratuity and is at your discretion. Should you want to give gratuity, we would recommend anywhere between 10-15%.
Cakes and outside Foods:
You are welcome to bring a cake or any other already prepared and cooked foods that have been prepared in a facility monitored by the Chicago Department of Health into the facility.
