  • 1 lb Yukon Gold potatoes peeled
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup Asiago cheese freshly shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese freshly shredded
  • 3 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • salt
  • French fried onions

  • 1 lb Yukon Gold potatoes peeled
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup Asiago cheese freshly shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese freshly shredded
  • 3 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

  • French fried onions

Instructions
  1. Quarter and then boil potatoes for about 20 minutes until tender. Drain thoroughly, and place in a bowl. Add cream, milk, butter, cheeses, pressed garlic (using a garlic press) and ground black pepper. Using a masher or the back of a large fork (masher is recommended), mash all of the ingredients until everything it incorporated completely. Salt to taste.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Place the potato mixture in a greased 8X8 baking pan. Top generously with french fried onions. Then brush on some melted butter or olive oil and bake for 20 minutes. Broil for 2 minutes to get golden brown.
