Ingredients
  • For the meatballs
  • 1 lb ground beef Or ground Turkey
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp BBQ Spices equal mix of cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, onion flakes, parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • For the sauce
  • 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries (no sugar added)
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 2 tbsp beef boulion powder
  • 1 onion chopped fine
  • 2 cups beef or chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp horseradish
  • 1/2 tbsp dill weed
  • 3 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 3 tbsp flour

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Combine all of the meatball ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Roll the meat into small "Swedish Sized Meatballs"
  3. Add 1-2 tbsp of olive oil to a large (large enough to fit all of your meatballs) oven safe frying pan and brown the meatballs on all sides on medium heat.
  4. Once browned, place in the oven for 30-40 minutes.
  5. Create the sauce by combining all of the ingredients into a pot, stir and heating up to a slow boil. Then place on simmer until the cranberries are soft and 'smushable'. Then mash the cranberries. Salt to taste.
  6. Then in a separate pot, heat oil or butter until melts. Then add flour and stir to make a roux. Add the liquid from the cranberry mixture and stir thoroughly. Simmer covered until thick.
  7. Serve Gravy on Meatballs.
