Ingredients
  • olive oil
  • 3-4 turnips diced
  • 5-6 parsnips diced
  • 1 Vidalia onion sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • pinch brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pinch pepper

Instructions
  1. In a pan, sauté onion and turnips and parsnips with a pinch of salt and pepper in olive oil for about two minutes on medium-high heat until onions are translucent. Lower heat to medium and add the butter and brown sugar. Stir until butter melts and let sit on stove stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes until turnips and parsnips brown and are tender.
