Ingredients
  • onion powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
  • 1 Roma tomato
  • 2-4 lb slab beef back Baby Back, or 2lbs of Pork Country Ribs
  • 3-4 tbsp Smoky Pole BBQ Blend or equal mix of the following:
  • cumin
  • garlic powder
  • chili powder
  • basil

  • 1 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
  • 1 Roma tomato

Instructions
  1. In a food processor, combine all of the ingredients besides the ribs and pulse into a marinade/watery paste. Place ribs in a coverable plastic container and pour the marinade generously onto Ribs. If more paste is needed, repeat. Cover and let sit in the refrigerator overnight.
  2. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a pan, heat olive or vegetable oil and sear ribs on all sides. Place in a baking tray and add the rest of the marinade, Cover with tinfoil and let sit for another 2.5-3 hours until tender. Can refrigerate and then finish on BBQ for ten minutes to get them hot and crispy if you desired
