In a 5 qt chefs pan with a cover, saute crushed garlic in 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.
Add Turkey and brown.
Add Italian spices and salt.
Add crushed tomato and stir.
Add Vodka and stir.
Let sit until simmering starts. Cover lower heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Uncover, add cream, peas and fresh thyme (remove leaves from stem first) and stir until incorporated. Let simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
