Herb & Fruit Infused Simple Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup herbs, whole spices and fruits examples: Strawberries, Rosemary, Thyme, Cardamom, Cloves, Peaches
  • 2 parts water
  • 1 part sugar

Instructions
 

  • Place fruits, herbs and spices in a pot with a little splash of water and simmer for 5 minutes until fruits and herbs express and flavor the water.
  • Add water and sugar and bring to a boil until sugar dissolves and turn off to cool.
  • Let syrup completely cool. It is best to cool overnight in the fridge.
  • Use as base for a sorbet or a cocktail!
